The journeys to and from the two major Orlando airports, Orlando International and Sanford, are both made stress free as the Interstate 4 runs past both and are adequately signposted. From the entrance into Southern Dunes, Orlando International can be reached in around 30 minutes and Sanford in 60 minutes.

For those looking to head further a field, the Interstate 4 provides direct access southwest to Tampa and the beautiful Gulf coast beaches in around 60 minutes, and Northeast to the center of Orlando itself. The Atlantic coast with Cape Canaveral, Daytona speedway and Cocoa beach can be reached in under 70 minutes using the State Road 528, which is easily found by following the 17 / 92 or the Interstate 4.

There are a number of local amenities to found only minutes away from the villa, including a supermarket, Walgreen's chemist, super Wal-Mart, petrol/gas station, bank and a variety of shops, diners, bars and restaurants.

The whole area is abundant in quality Golf courses. Apart from the fantastic 18 hole award winning onsite course, there are four further championship standard courses within a 10 minutes drive and a further 20 courses to be found within a 20 mile radius. Courses include Highlands Reserve, Ridgewood Lakes and the award winning Champions Gate.
